## **Scans and platforms**

<dt>**Is the monitoring real-time?**</dt>
<dd>No. Mentionwatch scans on a schedule, which is what keeps the price low: every 24 hours on Starter, every 12 hours on Growth, and once a week during the trial.</dd>

<dt>**Which platforms do you support?**</dt>
<dd>YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. Starter covers X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; Growth adds Facebook. The trial covers Instagram and TikTok.</dd>

<dt>**What are the data limits per cycle?**</dt>
<dd>Each scan collects up to the latest 30 posts per tracking, on every platform.</dd></dl>

## **Keywords and sentiment**

<dt>**How many keywords can I track?**</dt>
<dd>It depends on your plan. Solo includes 1 keyword on one platform with a scan every 24 hours. Starter includes 3 keywords with a scan every 24 hours. Growth includes 8 keywords with a scan every 12 hours. Each keyword covers one platform.</dd>

<dt>**Can I track custom keywords?**</dt>
<dd>Yes. Mentionwatch tracks any keyword, brand name, or hashtag you choose across the platforms on your plan.</dd>

<dt>**How accurate is the sentiment analysis?**</dt>
<dd>Every post gets one of six labels automatically: positive, mostly positive, neutral, mostly negative, negative, or angry. Automatic labels get some posts wrong, especially sarcasm and slang, so you can change the label on any post in your dashboard.</dd></dl>

## **Trial and billing**

<dt>**Is there a free trial available?**</dt>
<dd>Yes. The 14-day free trial includes 1 keyword with weekly scans on Instagram and TikTok. No credit card is required to start.</dd>

<dt>**Can I cancel my subscription anytime?**</dt>
<dd>Yes. Plans are billed monthly, and you can cancel at any time in the self-service billing portal. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.</dd>

<dt>**Do you offer refunds?**</dt>
<dd>If Mentionwatch is not for you, email support@mentionwatch.com within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that, payments are non-refundable and we do not refund partial months, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.</dd></dl>
